I think it works the old way (gift given 1.1. 20XX instead of 24.12.20XX)
so, no problemo there

It was placed in the backpack at all the charter who logged in.
From 24-12-2010 to 1-1-2011.
But as always, should the charter be made before 24-12-2010 to get a gift.
So if your charter was created the 24th it was not given any present.
Or if your charter was not online in the game from the 24th to the 1st, no present given either.
