Besides the location and the price, the setup is over the top for a game from 1997.

Yeah I agree, but what game from 97' still has this many people investing this much time into it. Pang has never been for the faint of heart, or for players who wish to sign up so they can slash and bash the first day. Yeah even with all of that I still can't warrant that kind of server for this game.
