Do sandals count as armor? Do wands count as weapon?

Boots/shoes/sandals/etc. are listed as armor. Ofcourse this does not include shoes with magical attributes. Wands are weapons listed in macefighting category, so yes to that aswell.

Good questions. Keep them coming.

Holy symbols?Do they work as wands? I think it should be listed as a tome/religious item.
It's not like you're going to hit someone with it or throw a flamestrike from it :P

Wand is a wand. Neither you go hit someone with Hellfire wand :p.
Still goes under maces.
But lets see what Boris says.

Lets keep symbols out of it. I'll clarify it to the official rules later.

Ofcourse another choice is to make symbols newbied, but it's no urgent matter.

Also, smithy hammer is a weapon, magical smithy hammers dont apply to the looting rules I guess?

Instruments are a different category. Smiths hammer/skinning knife with durability charges is a no go.
