HW-wise it's impossible to lag the server. The biggest CPU usage reported today was 5%. We could create some pikes by spawning 200-300 NPC's at the same time (of wich 30+ were miasma daemons, the worst thing to spawn) but the pikes occured due to software. UO itself is the limit, not the server.

Was kinda expecting that from a stone-age game.

Once in-game it's great.

But I have been experience long -Connecting- times. As in when to log in and connect to the sever.

Sounds more like a problem with your firewall. No recent changes in software?

Nopp. Started the moment we switched server.
Though just remebered it works fine on the laptop so I guess the problem is on this PC.

Long connecting times are probably due to the order of your login.cfg being wrong. If you have several IP addresses in the login.cfg, the game will try them all until one works. However it will wait a certain amount of time until it tries the next one.

Due to this, you should put the most likely server IP on top, and less likely underneath.
