I've always been in favor of banning 3D since the advantage it gives it just ridiculous. I'll put a new poll again and see how many players there actually is who needs to use the 3D for lagging reasons.

Ok im just gonna bring up the point. Everyone whos in North America suck up and deal with the lag. (yeah im there also so don't try to turn that comment on me) Its game don't take it so seriously. Its not like in he middle of your PvP their weapon is gonna fly out of your screen and hit you in the eye -.-

well some people spend ages macroing the hell out of their characters so that they can play em and lag pretty much makes most online games unplayable so not a very good idea, especially now since the server has started to come alive again

And i am one of said people, i understand you don't want to lose your stuff but games are no fun if there isn't something to always to have to jump over.

The 3D client has its benefits and downsides. If you're willing to risk dying in PvP because you're too fussy about the cosmetics of a client which you'd use only 1/5 of the time (unless all you do is PvP)- too bad so sad.

When it comes to PvP, 3D can be an excellent equaliser to those from non-EU countries or those who lag badly on 2D but on 3D they lag little if at all. Until Pangaea is hosted on an "officially pwnage server" with high bandwidth/speed- 3D client should be allowed.

For some years now I skip on 2D client and watch others glide by, with extreme jealousy. Then one day a friend told me about the 3D client and how smooth it ran, I thought it would just be some myth, so I opened 3D client and it was like a breath of fresh air! I whizzed across the map and came in my pants because of the speed. Oh and then there are the added benefits of using those *special* animations not available to those 2D losers.

So what's it going to be? Looks or functionality? You're shallow if you choose looks over functionality!!!
