Web Protest

Web Protests Piracy Bills, and Senators Change Course

Amazing Times we live in, pun intended. A new medium for protesting a government has emerged and it is the web. The interesting factor is that this form of protest, while lazier, also leaves a more impactful scar on a countries economy. I am going to be interested to see what the economic backlash is from some sites going black. Keep in mind that this topic may only regard America at the moment, however, other countries may follow suit and for me, this is democracy at it's finest. Being able to put your thumbs down to potential and culturally damaging legislation that does more harm than good (from a citizens perspective). Post your thoughts below please I would be interested to read other opinions regarding the topic at hand.

any american that can access FARC website gets a cookie.Basically we already have censorship.
And I think this legislation was a BIT more important then censorship of the internet, and has potential to eliminate real protests or uprising by the masses :)
