Re: The Mage Change
eval boost!
yes, it will boost monks druids and necros too, but maybe make it so that it only affects at higher eval int? i would like it if it would boost monks a bit too, ofc not as mages.
so mages would notice the change considerably.
monks would be a tiny bit better with spells.
necros and druids, same as it was..

I think the effect is more important than the basis of argument. The effect that's looked for is more mana regen for mages. Not sure about it myself.Boris wrote:The difference is that mages have 100 meditation. So with that logic, I would rather see a fast manaregen with Knights/Rangers, perhaps even Monks.Momath wrote:this is pretty much a copy of assassins/warriors faster hpregen.

Imho, monks, for example, already get the fastest (?) mana regeneration by using medidation skill.Boris wrote:The difference is that mages have 100 meditation. Re: The Mage Change
I think we have our ideas cut for mages (aswell as druids, necromancers, bards and monks). Wait, see and whine.

Re: The Mage Change
Hum, I kind of agree that mages should stick to simple strong magery as well, so here's what I had already thought out some time ago as a boost for mages: Elemental mage
So in short, here's the deal: When you reach 100 magery/med/eval you should be able to pick your strong element (earth/water/air/fire). After you choose your element, all your magery on spells regarding such elements would be boosted.
For instance, while casting water elemental if you're water mage (?) you'd get much better rate at getting ice elemental.
I will elaborate if needed, for now just the basic idea...

Re: The Mage Change
and what about your main damaging spell being fire? there isn't one "kal vas flam" for every elemental type.
besides, changes already happened and what will happen next, boris said they know it. but i would still like to see spells being fixed/made into something useful

Re: The Mage Change
Considering you can onehit anyone with a good halberd in the barb's hands, who is purely concentrated on his hits.
Mages, should be the same with their spells. They cast twice longer then one hits with a halberd, so you may figure what their damage should be.
