Magical item wipe, would be good boost to the merchant market overall.

I got tons of ideas for the loss too. And one of them got turned down just because of magical items.

Druid/necro staves can be put into the bowyer menu.
Enchanting gears could be considered as an option and whatnot.
PvP is aswell, basically based on magic items - so that's already big nerf for merchants. (except alchys and tamers)
that would also boost the resource gain in hunting.
maybe we could aswell get more veins.

I'd say go for it.

Make them more rare.

Could we get an idea how rare though? On the level of Indy med, healing and tactics? Or on the super once in a blue moons of magic hammers?

I don't really think it'd cure EVERYTHING, but imo the tailored stuff special hide/bone droprate is ridiculously high atm and should be nerfed. Haven't noticed the same about bowcraft/smithing stuff, so imho those rates could just stay the same.

And as someone pointed out, player-made tailored studdeds just suck so much, compared to plain invul or special hide invul.

Only if you increase hide drop from monsters. Otherwise this would hurt monks/druids alot.
Lets face it, single ice fiend drops 10 hides. 2 people usually kills it, and there is 3 I know of that's accessible. thats 15 hide per person in single hunt per person. Which you cant do anything with it.

I would have to agree, the tailored stuff is seriously broken. I've seen some ridiculous pieces out there now, but I can't complain on that level.

Now as a tailor, it does need a change and the sooner the better.

People, seriously. We can still come up with good ideas rather than complaints. It's just a poll.

And Boris's reply states not just one valid point. The idea section should be bombed to balance the loss. To make merchants work more for the fighters, not the orcs do it for them.


Added; Of course the clothes can be left untouched from mobs. But these should aswell be reached by well trained characters.

Giants, dragons, voids balrons etc..

i would change my vote to a yes if there wasent a whole wipe only the magic stuff got deleted and aslong as we kept cloths

chance mine to a yes then aslong as there isant a full itam wipe and you only get rid of the magic stuff :D
