So its a basic question Yes or no.
It would be less anoying when looting and avoind to loot what we cant, less work for staff cuz less reports and iligal stuff and people who arent strong enough for good clothes wouldnt use them.
And the point i think the best the pangaea economy which would make people need more than one indy of each

This has already been discussed here.

:-D prolly one of the lamest comments I've ever read.
[had to...]
It has always been the same, ie. Cabal of The night, Aeternus Eternus, SoD etc. same shiat as these days, might be more "rp" but it's becouse everyone didn't run when they saw the name tags on their screen.
The results were the same tho.

But I say yes,
It'd make it more risky and everything would depend more on players skills. [Considering everyone might not run around in their best equips anymore]
And yes, I do have red char. But don't forget that I've got four blue characters also.

But this poll's kinda useless, as Aileth already pointed out.

Well, to be honest, even the clean looting wont help the shard economy that much. Forti mining and such items dont seem to sell that good on forums anymore and from point where people can just toss forty clothes around, there is very hard to return into healthy economy.

I vote yes becouse shard we got isn't like the one from back in the day! *giggle*

Nah, just from serious point of view, I can still just say the same: UO is UO, dont try to make it into WoW or some sort of easier game by rules. Also, like stated in first post, it ease GMs job a lot.

And what comes to bashing of "baddies on this shard" I can say that actually I think Nox atm is roleplaying even so much that it puts us in some kind of disadvantage in many different situations, where older robber guilds made it quick and easy. Not to mention the RP we do just by ourselves, since trying to roleplay with someone else ends up in PvP.

less work for staff
Drylooting isn't going to give the staff less work... in the best case scenario they get the same amount of work simply because people whine, and some do it in any attempt they get, to get their items back or even to get someone jailed/marked, and whatnot.

With the current looting rules the staff has a lot of work not because "drylooting is not allowed" but because players can't even respect the rules implemented.

I gained some hope when you posted this, there is a common misconception that drylooting will fix the economy. It won't. Even if drylooting were allowed, you're still having items accumulate in the shard with the same player base. You need items to be destroyed or "lost" for certain things to maintain their high value/rarity AND a gradual increase in playerbase (or just the latter). Also, people might not be willing to pay as much as they would before- we have older players who don't see much worth in investing dozens of hours (assuming indy mace is 1 million, and you spend 20 hours solid hunting @ 50k per hour) for a cloth that gives +10 in mace fighting (hidden whine message). We need NEW meat, young, gullible, fresh-faced newbies who will want the best of everything and will want to pay the full price.

UO PvP shards still exist where you can dryloot and PvP to your heart's content. But seriously, if you want something difficult, a REAL challenge: PvP IRL. You'll get plenty of chances for an adrenaline rush, risk losing items, REAL skill gains, brain damage and unlike in UO- you can actually get LAID (though, UO sex has 0% likelihood of contracting STDs).

This is the kind of comments that we dont need... no need to attack anyone

I actually see many people complaining: "oh they looted my pots...omg omg"
And this will result in gms reports so i see this would actually decriss gms job

I think there needs to be a trial, maybe two weeks of clean looting. This way staff can monitor levels of shard activity, whine ect to see if its actually of benefit to the shard. Theres no point bringing back clean looting if its going to cause players to quit or not play as much. Times have changed on Pangaea and many people, especially the newer players know the current rules as the norm.

If clean looting is brought back reds must also face a much harder time than they do now. If the rewards for robbing are much much higher (magic clothes for example worth hundreds of thousands of gold per piece) then the punishments should be raised too. Rules on stoning would need to be relaxed, wrong made harder to escape from, perhaps even new rules on how often a person can be robbed or malediction made legal again.

Staff would also need to be prepared to spend much more time on dealing with the problems that come with clean looting- alleged illegal kills, griefings, flaming on forums and ofcourse a 1000% increase in whine in general.
