Greetings citizens,

The Order of Law will be holding a trial later this evening. All citizens are welcome to attend the hearing. But only as spectators, unless asked otherwise. Troublemakers will be removed from the court house.

This evenings hearing will be held for an infamous murderer, a man accused of multiple murders, Skrin Dagda.

Another announcement will be made as the time of the hearing draws near.

Head Priest of the Order of Law

Today, a murderer was forgiven at a trial after showing great remorse and honesty.

Skrin Dagda is no longer wanted by the Order of Law, nor by the guards of Lord British. He will seek out new ways of life and is trusted to stay on a righteous path.

Skrin paid a massive amount of gold to get a second chance. 660'000 gold pieces to be exact. The gold will be donated to charity, which will go directly into improving the safety and culture of Lord British' towns among other things.

Worry not, Skrin has been on the salvation list for a noticeable amount of time and has been living his life following the laws as any other citizen for a long time. The decision for him to be salvated was not made lightly.

*after reading the note, the man is red with anger*

What damn charity will get the gold? I'm a poor man living between and within the cities protected by yer Order and I ain't never seen a single coin of this gold! If the culture you speak of encourages the rich to get richer and the poor be poorer, then you are most assuredly doing a great job! You should take care to provide more for the common folk instead of making claims that are untrue yer holiness.

*the note is left unsigned*

thankfully it is not our duty to run the lands as others might think, we simply protect them from harm.

Britain and cities under control of lord british are cities of opportunity, there is much work for the merchants and hunting for the adventurers. Someone can arrive outside Lord British's castle one day with nothing and by the end of that same day would have a brand new horse and a fine room at the british inn with a mug of ale and and a leg of mutton. I do not believe i have seen anyone truely in poverty since houses were blocked off during the last Imperial war...

But if you have truely fallen through the cracks sir their are charity boxes in a building near the bank which often contain useful items to help citizens get back on their feet. If you are still struggling there are fields fit for harvest which can weild much cotten flax and food. If you are unable to harvest or apply your trade or hunt then citizens of Lord British tend to be extremely generous and well off and im sure could help you with a small sum of gold if you ask kindly.

This day a Criminal was taken off the streets. This same person will be using his skills to aid against Tyranny instead of the opposite. This day was a good day.
The Order of Law did what the other Orders could not.

Skrin Dagda

'The Order of Law did what the other Orders could not'

Remember Skrin, it was also your dear Order of Law that originally marked you as a murderer, an enemy of their kingdom and hunted you and your friends day and night. You are who you are, a man with vision and desires and for years you fought against the tyranny. Now you've surely sold your soul. Know that where you paid for Law's forgiveness, the "other Orders" never even marked you as a criminal.

And Akkarrin, I've witnessed with my own eyes as poor men are slayed by your Order simply because you don't know them and can't tell whether they are really poor or just someone disguised.

I was disgusted when I seen his charges dropped after such a confession, I'm starting to doubt OoL judgment.
