The Imperium's Falter

Post by Daren Priesten »

Moonglow was quiet. The citizens locked themselves in their doors, the banker took the day off. Everything lay barren and quiet. Guards with orange capes lay on the ground motionless.

This is not what The Order of Nature wanted.

The emissaries fell one by one as they couldn't hold off the Force of the attack. Their bodies lay motionless on the ground with stones scattered throughout. The altar that once held a strong power, sat neutral and stoic.

Daren wrote a letter and soon Maven arrived, at his word he promised not to attack nor any tricky things. They just wanted to talk.

"Imperial, we have an offer for you." Maven grunted and looked to his side and soon Cruxis showed up next to him.

Zabren hopped off his steed and walked slowly towards Maven of Imperial. "High Monk Maven, we do not want this. End your ties with Ancient Powers and we will end the war. We will return Occlo to you," Maven replied, "No, I cannot do that." Daren chimed in, "End your alliance with Ancient Powers or we will take Magincia, this is a kind offer."

Maven scoffed once again, "You do know we will take Occlo back anyways, right?" Daren suddenly knew it was useless to be diplomatic now. "Very well, then the war continues."

Cruxis looked over at Maven and then let out a scream, he sacrificed his body in hopes to destroy the intruders before them. Maven returned and started to attack, throwing punch after punch. The imperials soon found themselves on the ground, next to their corrupted altar. "They will face the force of Nature. And Law, will do with them as they please."

The war continues...
