The dreadul moment before battle that every soldier felt. They marched on towards the screaming barbarians. An awful sight. They had long hair, some braided. Most of them had brown or dark hair and thick beards. Everyone had painted their face differently for there were a hundred different clans that had joined for a common cause. To crush the invaders. He looked up and saw the standard of The Imperial Order of Telborea. To fight and die under it meant everything, to fight for it. It was the symbol of civilization and freedom. "The Emperor and the people of Telborea". They drew closer to the horde. How could they fight against Telborea? Why not themself be embraced and live in the glorious Empire. He could now make out individual faces, they were filled with anger. Why they would resist Telborea is beyond him. But now they stood in it's way to expand it's glory. And for that they would die. The barbarians rushed forward towards the Legion. A last glance on the standard, the blood pumping. And so it began.
He was startled by the thunder outside. Suddenly back in his home on Serpent. Thoeak sighted as he looked upon the stack of papers. He had dreamt himself back to old memories of battle again. He leaned back and sipped on the wine. He could hear the waves crashing against the stonewall. It was pouring rain outside and the thunder lit the sky once again. The small office was warm though from the fire. The furs almost made it to hot. He could hear the men laughing from the inn. Getting themself drunk as hell. He couldn't help but smile. They had started something good here. Now they just had to make it great.

He read the letter again. There were many questions among the peasants that couldn't read. So he sent out a few men that read the letter outloud in markets and taverns.
Dear citizens of Felucca.
For 2 years we have fought to liberate this land from the oppressors. With the will of our people and the strength of our soldiers we created a kingdom for free men and women. The war has taken it's toll but we will not give up. The Kingdom of Telborea has grown strong and will grow stronger. I am honored to announce the latest news.
Emperor Taurus Victor has been informed of our success and granted us the honor to become a part of the Telborean Empire. Felucca is now a province in the Telborean Empire and under the rule of Emperor Taurus Victor. Thoeak Milner has been bestowed the honor of Legatus and to lead our military operations and secure the freedom of our citizens.
Legio XII Victrix, The 12th Legion. Is now officialy a part of the Imperial Order of Telborea. I wish to inform you about The Imperial Order of Telborea. We who are the military elite for the Emperor.
"Based in the city of Telborea. The once city state now ruling the entire continent. The Imperial Order has thousands of dedicated soldiers at it's disposal, both infantry and cavarly. During times of war The Order serves as the elire core of the Imperial Legions. The Order is made up of hand picked veterans from the legions of Telborea."

Peace. He said it several times as if it was new, foreign and alien. The meeting came as a suprise and the result even more. The words arrived in a brown scroll with the sigil of Order of Nature. Not really knowing what to expect he opened the letter and read it. "...issues to solve over the current war...". More politics. He answered then sent for Lucius.
They met on in the woods outside the city of Minoc. Thoeak, Lucius and Zabren. The war had been going on for a few years. A different man held the title as Headpriest in the Order at the time and Zabren thought it was time to end the war. Thoeak could only agree. Order of Nature had nothing to do with their campaign. Lord British was the problem, not Nature. Though the soldiers that stood beneath banner of The Imperial Order of Telborea where proud and filled with fighting. They would often come back from raids with spoils to split amongst the brothers. A peace wouldn't fit well for the men. So they discussed the terms, Nature would give a tribute of a million gold that would satisfy the men. It was a deal that worked out for everyone. They finished discussion the rest of the terms and both leaders accepted them. They shook hands and that was that. The war had ended.

The candle flickered from the wind as Lucius opened the door. Thoeak signed the last paper then handed it to Lucius. "It is time for me to fulfill my duty. You shall be the new general. The men look up to you and I know you will command the troops into victory" Lucius took the paper and nodded to him. Thoeak walked outside and headed towards the boat. Two years ago they made a pact with Tekstone. They had done their part, now it was his time. He gave his word to Lily, the current Headpriest of the Cult at the time. She was right in the end. There is only one way to gain control over this circle. He embarked on the boat and they set sail towards Wind, where he would pledge his life in service of Dennac and the Avatar.
