Azrael removed all his weapons, armor and placed them on his steed, tied it to a hitching post at the library and marched his way into the Order of Law's temple.
He slowly opened the double metal doors and infront of him appeared a room brightly white and a few Officers standing about, talking and from what he could make out, it was about the Telborean threats.
He approved the Officers and quickly stated he was not looking for trouble, he was actually looking for someone to speak with about becoming an Officer in these thriffling times.
A few Officers laughed and said you think he can become and Officer after being the one assaulting us for so long? Akkarrin spoke up and said, we all learn to forgive, and this man seems to be in the position to ask for forgiven and repeant in the sins against Lord British and Winchester.
Azrael, Akkarrin said, follow me up to the Code of Law's chamber for we have much to discuss. Azrael noded and follow him to the chamber.
Azrael spent alot of time in the Code of Law room, praying to Winchester and memorizing the rules and guidelines to follow as an Officer.
There was eleven Codes of Law to follow and live by as an Officer serving Winchester.
Code of Law #1
You must never tell a lie, nor endorse the denial of the truth
Code of Law #2
You must at all times show Honor and spread the Glory of this order
Code of Law #3
You must always defend the poor and weak
Code of Law #4
You may take any need in the use should the situation require it
Code of Law #5
You shall follow the Law set out by the Lord and strike down those violating it
Code of Law #6
You will follow the commands set forth to you by the Head Priest
Code of Law #7
You will honor and swear to the God known as Winchester
Code of Law #8
You will never violate any innocents
Code of Law #9
You will judge any situation requiring your attention with proper authority
Code of Law #10
You must stay true to your faith and your brothers in Faith
Code of Law #11
You must follow these Code of Laws and swear of them whenever you visit the altar of Law
Azrael studied these Codes for what seem to be of the better part of two days..

Re: [Chpt 3] The New Begining
The time had come, Azrael recieved a message from Orin to meet him at the temple, there was things to discuss.
Azrael met with Akkarrin and he questioned Azrael about he Codes of Law and was surprised Azrael had learned them so quickly and was showing his affection for being a forgiven sinner.
Orin spoke with Azrael with Akkarrin, Aerius and Lionnel around. They spoke of Azraels sins and actions towards the Order of Law.
Azrael appologized for his crimes and offered himself to the Order of Law, as a servant of Winchester and Lord British in hopes they, the people and his fellow Officers would be able to forgive his actions towards them and the crown.
Feeling like the red-headed step child in the family, Azrael did his best to be there for his fellow Officers and in this task he soon made friends with Aerius, the Elder Priest of Law.
*Watching the ways an Officer is supposed to act amongst citizens, protecting them at any and all cost. It was not about himself anymore, but the people that he swore to protect the day he enlisted as an Officer*
*The temple flooded with worry and disheartening concern.. Telborean had been sitted killing someone in the fields west of Britain*
Akkarrin, Elya, Aerius and Azrael geared and took off towards the field.
Apon arrival they noticed citizens running and telborean chasing them. Azrael gripped his scepter and went for the swing along with Akkarrin.
Elya and Akkarrin started veritas, two fell and the third ran off. They chased him down, but he was skilled in hiding himself in his house and going to sleep.
They returned the proper items to the citizens and returned to the temple for a job well done.

Re: [Chpt 3] The New Begining
Azrael spent alot of days, nights, and time praying to Winchester, he had been welcomed by Aerius, Akkarrin, Elya, Orin, Piri, Lionnel and Quinten. He was finally starting to earn the respect of his fellow Officers, almost like a family.
But to himself he was still striving to earn the same feeling from Winchester...

Azrael could feel inside himself that he was being strenghtend by Lord Winchester, but he harbored a faint feeling he was still trying to be welcomed by Winchester.
He continued to heed the calls for falling citizens, plagued monsters ravaging the lands and murderious brigands attacking all over the place while assisting fallen Officers.

Re: [Chpt 3] The New Begining
Azrael sat in his temple room in deep thoughts to himself and trying to connect to Winchester..
Winchester, guide me in this time of need. I feel there is something horrible coming with the horizon and we are all going to need your strenght in time.
I have heared rumors that Dennac has finally gathered his strenght again and is planning to make a return, my faith is in you now Winchester. I have seen that side and I am happy to renounce my faith in you.
Azrael had finally felt welcomed in Winchesters presence. It had seemed that he was tested to see if he would falter like the others in the Order of Law with Dennacs corruption.
Azrael stood up, geared himself and began his patrols, waiting for them to arrive, he had once been a High Priest of Tekstone, followed in Darians path herself and knows exactly the battle strategies still used by them.
I believe even now of all times we are going to need to settle this hostile action with the Order of Nature and stand next to them once again. The Order of Nature and Order of Law have had a history of being side by side in times like this. I have witnessed it from the other side and it is time to reunite this alliance.
For Dennac and the Cultist are close to ending this Circle of Destruction and we can not allow this to happen and we wont.
I am ready Winchester, Azrael claimed to himself out loud. Let them come.

Re: [Chpt 3] The New Begining
*For a dozen of moons and suns*Azrael continued to do his job as an officer, pledging himself to those that were innocent. Standing for those that couldnt stand, fighting for those that would run in terror at the first sign of trouble around towns.
He made a few life time companions standing his rank as an Elder Priest of Law, but for every two good friends, there was always the chance of someone disapproving of the actions that were taken.
Azrael had spent most of the day patroling with his Elder Priest, Aerius. They both were traveling together searching for wanted criminals and every few minutes a hawk was seen to travel with them, keeping an eye out from above the tree's.
Aerius; Azrael, stated, it is about time to check in with Akkarrin and report all signs clear in the Cove Forest. Aerius sent a pidgeon with a letter attached to his taloons destined for the Law Temple.
Azrael, dismounted his steed, looked up at the hawk and thought to himself. Such peace and tranquality with no worries, but why does it travel with us.. He pondered the actions of such a creature and that is when it hit him.
They refreshed themselves with some day old fishsteaks and some water from a near by water source. They remounted and nodded to finish checking the woods and towards Vesper they road. After arriving at vesper and still having no signs of criminals appearing to them they decided to go home.
He nodded to Aerius and they both casted "Itum Fanum Divinus" and with peace, thought to return to the temple and appeared at the temple they did. Azrael, good day patroling, with this increased force protection hopefully we can keep things quiet. Aerius beckoned from across the temple.
Azrael, much thinking about his feeling toward smiled at Aerius and nodded as he moved toward the direction of his temple room. He lay in bed thinking. Have I served the people and this is it. He thought about his past indescretions and tried to forgive himself, but he couldn't. He could only with his actions ask for forgiveness from those families.
Azrael awoke the next morning and found Orin in his room going over a few things before the up coming meeting. He knocked and with his suspected reply, Orin told him to come in.
He spoke to Orin with no hasty, worried or scared tones. He simply sat down and mentioned, I think I have served Winchester and Lord British for my past actions and my time as a Officer has come to pass. I have provided security, peace, but more importantly I have made friends here, as well as a few that have disagreed with my actions and for this I believe my time here is through.
Now, dont get me wrong, if you ever need my help, I will gladly offer my assistance as I still believe in some of the Codes we were sworn by. I have shown no aggression for the innocents and will always stand to protect those that can not protect themselves.

Re: [Chpt 3] The New Begining
Azrael handed over his tome, stood and saluted Orin.
He closed the door behind him softly and began to wonder out the front doors of the Temple and took a deep breath as he noticed the hawk perched atop of the near by castle wall.
The peaceful side of life is what seemed to hold Azrael's mind. The fights and the unnecessary shed of blood and aggression had finally caught up with him. He longed for a way to solve such things without the use of force. In his mind and to his actions seen by people he was still a lost soul.
Azrael kept pondering why such a creature seemed to be following him. He thought more about his time as an officer and the peaceful side of things. He enjoyed the laughter, the smiles and the good times he found around Britain without anyone causing more trouble then the average bar theif.
Azrael made his way to a local tavern and ordered a pitcher of cidar and a empty glass. The bar tender smirked and replied, I will give you the cleanest I have. Azrael, nodding in acceptance smiled as he reached out for the glass and pitcher of cidar and slowly began to fill the glass up.
Still thinking about such a creature following him around, Azrael finished off the cidar and walked outside a little tipsy as he wasn't much of a drinker. The Hawk swooped down and landed on his arm as he was fully out of the door with it closing behind him.
Looking started, Azrael, pushed his arm away from his body slowly, hoping not to disturb or upset the Hawk. He noticed a small peice of parchment tied to the Hawk's leg. He reached and grabbed it and to his surprise the peice of parchment had the following on it.
Empath Abbey
The Hawk had delivered his purpose and shuttered off into the distance back to his nest. Azrael, knew this was a rare occurance. There must be a reason to this new found feeling in his heart and the message from the bird.

Re: [Chpt 3] The New Begining
Azrael reached the entrance to the Empath Abbey only to feel something was distrought, but at the same time familiar, like he was coming home.

The smell of a rotting corpse was lingering in the air. Azrael, noticed a small group of local guards standing over the corpse of a dead animal as he approached the Abbey.

Azrael kneeled down and gutted the cow without any hesitation, as if something was playing him as if he was on a rope. Inside the belly of the animal, a blood stained book was found and on the cover the name "Azrael" in big bold letters. A little confused to why his name was inscribed into the book, he opened it and began to read what was left in blood on the pages.

*Feeling a little lost and confused, Azrael carried the book back to his house and began to ponder about such actions until the time has come*
