Doom dungeon

Post by Argon »

*a note is being distributed for those who show interest*

Dear all,

My name is Baylor, and I am one of the Doom keepers. You may wonder why would I consider myself a keeper of a long lost dungeon, but this is a fact. After long journeys I was able to find it!

But I come here with one thing in mind, coins! Yes, that is what I care the most, coins. So me and my friends managed to keep our secret path and at the same time allow you to reach it, run through it and get out for a price of course.

I am sure those who seek great adventure and hunts will be interested. In this dungeon I could find all the most evil creatures I could imagine, and in quite abundance. So keep in mind the following:

- The price per person to enter this dungeon is 200'000 gold coins
- We will not help or refund you in any circunstancies
- There are two ways you can exit the dungeon: either dead or by reaching the final lever
- You are expected to take long time to reach the end
- Reinforcments won't arrive

As proof of that what I am saying is the truth, I shall add this draw:

If you wish to enter this dungeon, you can reach me by sending a sign to the stars, we will see.

Dear Baylor,

I heard Doom is interesting, although... I've never been there.
Me and my sisters would love to try it out but we have no idea what's there to hunt, no clue what gear to take, nor potions and what not.
Could you please give us a hint on what we can find there? How many of us should be? 200 per person seems a lot without the slightest idea if we will all just die upon arrival.

Thank you for your time,

Dear Lila,

The picture that I have shown is the representation of the entrance of the dungeon. I am positive that if you are valiant enough, then you can handle well the arrival. It is where monsters seem to gather the least and thus being the easiest part of the dungeon.

About the rest, prepare for everything... Undead, Deamons, Humanoids, Freaks, Dragons... well thats all I can say.

Dear Baylor,

What kind of business is that?
You really expect us to pay something like 1 million for a group of 5 without any kind of project or expectations?
We will only invest if we are guaranteed success and profit! At least enough to pay for the entrance!

Is there a banker to hold our items?
Healers?
Place to sleep in case we need suddenly?
A water barrel?
People need to know those things!

Perhaps allow us to explore the dungeon for 2 days without any initial price?

*Chuckles while reading Lila's note and decides to pin one below*
If you fear fighting the unknown that much you are most certainly not prepared.

I can't wait to gather a team worthy of this challenge.

Dear Lila

This is a kind of business for those interested on a great adventure. It is not my fault the dungeon is filled with so many creatures, dare you to try it out and you shall see. It is my conviction that the price is fair for the hard work I have put into finding it and the risks I've taken to allow you a safe access, more I cannot promise.

About your quick questions, no none could be hired to stay inside, who would want to live in a place like that. No place to safely sleep in there either, it's a dungeon filled with creatures, you can sleep there at your own risk. Water barrel, don't know but I did find some water while stealthy entered the dungeon.

People who are brave enough will prepare for the worst. I did not say this was a task for everyone, probably you are not experienced enough huh. Are you?

Baylor sir,

Where can I find you to grant me immediate access to the dungeon?
200.000 gold coins to enter? No law nor exits? Seems like the perfect place to do some business.
