I am glad to hear you are thinking of becoming a Telborean citizen. 25.000 gold coins will not buy you "protection" but it will buy you a citizenship. When you are a citizen of Telborea you get alot of benefits. The Legion got plenty of allies that share the same pure cause. To liberate this land from the oppressors like Lord British and Lord Blackthorn. These allies will not of course harm any Telborean citizen. I am afraid the last time I tried to talk with a plague bearer it only sneered at me. Plague bearers are no allies of Telborea. It is a disease Lucius. I have even seen potions containing this disease and I have seen Cult of Tekstone use it to destroy our enemies. I urge you to stay away from plague bearers as it's a disease and cannot be controlled. If you sight any of the Legion's allies you have nothing to fear, unless you are a servant of the false Lord's. Telborea is currently in a war and in war comes victims. I urge you to stay away from any fighting inside and outside the cities. We will launch attacks against Lord British cities so if you are living in one and sight the Telborean banner. Hide. In a battle it's hard to distinguish friend from foe. The Black Talons is a band of outlaws and enemies of Telborea. We are hunting them down to keep the citizens of Telborea safe. Also, I shall make a note of these allied guilds and one that contains the Laws of Telborea. Cult of Tekstone is not collecting taxes themself. They are our allies and helps us to punish those is breaking the laws of Telborea.

Thank you for the quick response, I shall mull this over in my head for a while. For now I do not need to travel for my business endeavors, but in time I will. 4 § Hostile actions***

5 § Authority**
*When signing the citizenship papers you agree that Legio XII Victrix is the authority. The authority shall deliver justice to criminals and our enemies. Only Legio XII Victrix got the authority to judge and punish another Telborean citizen if the citizen would be found guilty of crimes.

Telborea has rewarded Skrin Dagda the leader of Birds of Prey and Emily Calhoun the leader of Exorsus Nox.
Their support in our cause to liberate this land from the oppressors has been extraordinary. Both on the battlefield and outside.

I, Thoeak Milner and the rest of Legio XII Victrix has declared Skrin Dagda to be Lord of the West. Once we have conquered our enemies he shall take Yew as his seat. The western part of Telborea shall be under his protection. Lord Skrin has been granted the authority to punish and judge all citizens when needed. Birds of Prey shall be given 50% of the tax collected in their land. Collected by any Telborean soldiers or allied. Shame and Khaldun stands under his guard. In the name of Emperor Taurus Victor we declare Lord Skrin to be a protector of the kingdom.


I, Thoeak Milner and the rest of Legio XII Victrix has declared Emily Calhoun to be Lady of the North. Once we have conquered our enemies she shall take Minoc as her seat. The northen part of Telborea shall be under her protection. Lady Emily has been granted the authority to punish and judge all citizens when needed. Exorsus Nox shall be given 50% of the tax collected in their land. Collected by any Telborean soldier or allied. Wrong and Ice stands under her guard. Thoeak looked upon the wall where the tapestry hung. The Telborean Eagle in golden on a blood-red background, gold edges and the text "Imperator Populusque Telborea". He felt proud just by looking at it. It was good to be back home. Though alot had happened in his absence. The number of criminals in the province had increased dramatically. Due to the lack of patrols, they sneak in to feast upon the rich nature of the Empire. Well atleast that was about to change. It wasn't the first time. The scenery played itself before his eyes. "Get into the portal!" The thunder almost muted Lucius words. Thoeak hesitaded "We are not done here!" "There is nothing we can do, let's go!" Trees were uprooted and flared up to a torch. The storm cleansed the earth and came closer as the portal expanded. Then silence". Almost two years ago. He was glad he never entered the portal. There was so much to do, and Telborea did it afterall with success. The war has been going on for several years and it takes it toll. He isn't the same soldier he was back in Sekaton. Definitely not the same person that lead Reign of Death. So much had happened, and it's far from over. Soon it is time to get back on the offensive.

He poured himself a cup of wine and looked over the stack of papers. It's gonna be a long night. He took the first one, read it then signed it. Thoeak went through paper after paper. Payments, casualty reports, prisoners, taxes and so on. He leaned back and sipped on the wine. He wasn't use to all this paperwork, life was easier when he was just another soldier back in the Empire. Happy about the change though. They had raised this rotten land called Felucca into the golden age of the Telborean Empire. From a Kingdom to a province in the great Empire. From soldier, to king and now Legatus. He wondered if they will write about the conquering of this barbaric land. Like the campaign against the Cinai and the great battle of Cinastephon, or the conquering of Esiolonai. Atleast the inhabitants of the province will remember the beginning for many generations. What will the story say though? What will they call him? Thoeak the Cruel? The tyrant? He smiled and sipped some more wine. The death toll in this war is extremely high but it doesn't matter. Aslong the gold keeps flowing to Telan they are happy over there. He examined the scars on the arms, from his time in the K'arcan cult. Is he still watching? Of course. Even though he left the cult behind, death is always around him. The Reign of Death has ended though. His own reign as king has also ended. But it's far from over. The reign of Emperor Taurus Victor has just begun.

The dreadul moment before battle that every soldier felt. They marched on towards the screaming barbarians. An awful sight. They had long hair, some braided. Most of them had brown or dark hair and thick beards. Everyone had painted their face differently for there were a hundred different clans that had joined for a common cause. To crush the invaders. He looked up and saw the standard of The Imperial Order of Telborea. To fight and die under it meant everything, to fight for it. It was the symbol of civilization and freedom. "The Emperor and the people of Telborea". They drew closer to the horde. How could they fight against Telborea? Why not themself be embraced and live in the glorious Empire. He could now make out individual faces, they were filled with anger. Why they would resist Telborea is beyond him. But now they stood in it's way to expand it's glory. And for that they would die. The barbarians rushed forward towards the Legion. A last glance on the standard, the blood pumping. And so it began.

He was startled by the thunder outside. Suddenly back in his home on Serpent. Thoeak sighted as he looked upon the stack of papers. He had dreamt himself back to old memories of battle again. He leaned back and sipped on the wine. He could hear the waves crashing against the stonewall. It was pouring rain outside and the thunder lit the sky once again. The small office was warm though from the fire. The furs almost made it to hot. He could hear the men laughing from the inn. Getting themself drunk as hell. He couldn't help but smile. They had started something good here. Now they just had to make it great.
