I think you guys are just forgetting that we're playing this game to have fun, not to cause grief, kill someone IG and whatnot.

If the red community wants to fight without the instakilling rites, all they have to do is just fight somewhere else than Britain. If Law or Nature or whoever wants to fight without the instakilling from necros, they don't have that option really. The necro-side can avoid instakill, while the opposing party has no such means. Unless there's some player-made agreement not to use sacrifice. (And I bet someone will now come and say "Get necros on your side also then" )

Pffrt, get necros on your side too then! And aye, playermade agreements are possible on my side. We´ve tested them but usually in the end.. its still soli,sacrifice,banish combo.

It's a very simple thing.

You have Veritas, you can be squelched.
You don't have Veritas, you can't be squelched.

If everyone had Veritas, it would be a different thing. If you're suggesting Veritas for every religion, post to the ideas section.
