The feeling of helplessness showered Daren as he meditated in the temple. As he grew older, weaker he knew times have changed. The encounter with Imperial still made him feel uneasy. His own members of the Order fighting law men. He shook his head in deep thought. Even a trusted member of the Order sought to change faith. Times have changed indeed. Daren remembered feeling disheartened as the Chancellor of Yew even turned to Dennac. Barbarians can be rather random minded, he thought. "I'm just, I'm just going to go for a walk." mumbled Daren. Daren walked outside the stone Abby, looked at the earth and rubble and stones that surrounded him and continued towards Yew. Suddenly, the green forest trees whistled around him and a very familiar voice beckoned.
I am testing you, Daren.
"Why? Why me? I have kept my faith with you Gaea, and now I feel forsaken."
Because I have chosen you
"Plan, what plan do you have for me Gaea?"
The forest churned. Daren was left wanting to know more, his soul felt warm. He thought about his brothers in the church, how they have been there for him in the time of need. How they would stick together and praise Gaea for her blessings. But now, dark times were ahead, he knew. The growing followers of the Cult, the hostility of Imperial with the snap of a finger, his members fighting law men. It was time to be prepared for the worst.

Re: Darkness Approaches
From Gaea
Daren thought about the other day, how he came into contact once more with Gaea. She was an elusive goddess, who only came at times when they were most unexpected. Daren prayed in the safety of the Abbey for guidance. He felt so weak and his mind was circling. The day turned to night as if in a blink of an eye and Daren retired to his quarters. As he lay in bed he looked at the cobblestone ceiling wondering of Gaea's message to him the other day. Something was amiss, this was unlike the goddess. He knew he was not as powerful as he once was, it felt as though his power was dwindling as if with the church, as if a connection of sort. And then once more, the goddess appeared before him.
Daren, heed my words carefully.
Daren lay still, as if dreaming.
Darkness comes this way, and you and the church needs to be ready, Dennac's followers are growing at an alarming rapid pace!
This was his calling, he knew somehow Gaea did need him for some unknown reason. Of all his years with the church, he knew something was amiss.
Anything for you, Gaea.
Take this

Re: Darkness Approaches
Daren swiftly rushed to Simmo's chamber, he had to let the Head Cardinal know what was going on. He was already awake, meditating in silence. "Brother, is there something wrong? I sense great fear in you." Daren looked at Simmo and began talking, Simmo's facial expression turned from concerned to angry. Daren rushed to the library and began reading any clues he could find for the upcoming sacrament Gaea warned him about. As he looked through the ragged books he found one labeled on the outside in a special text "Nigram Asultis" He opened the book and looked for what Gaea had told him to look for.
After hastily searching through the book page by page he finally started to see old diagrams he was meant to find. It had tales of three ancient necromancers from years and years ago that performed a specific ritual and left the world in Darkness for decades, and now these cursed beings were being brought back. By whom? As Gaea had told him, it was only a matter of time, and the Order of Nature had to stop them, Gaea had given the tools, they needed to react.
By researching this upcoming sacrament he could find clues as to where it would take place, how to stop it, give them the upper hand. The literature waved through his mind, he read of how it was stopped. After decades of the world left in darkness and savage demons lurked the towns as if citizens. And then it came to pass, there was finally a priest who planned an assault on the necromancers. With ten brave followers they braved the graveyard this sacrament took place and after a long gruesome battle with demons and the undead they were able to imprison them, taking the codex they had gripped in their fingers and blessed it with Gaea's mercy, then Darkness was no more. Daren flipped though the pages and then he saw a certain image, he placed his finger on the page and trembled.
