Chapter One
He walked towards a hill where a man dressed in black was standing looking at something,
when he reached the top he stood shoulder to shoulders with the man and looked for
himself. There was piles of corpses and carrion birds picking at them trying to feed
themselves the stench reached his nose and he covered his face with the sleeve of his robe
and spoke.
"What is this Castiel?"
"Failed experiments" He answered without looking away as the guards was throwing more
corpses on a pile and lighting it on fire.
"Then what am I?"
"You're the only one who survived from the test subjects" Castiel looked at him.
"How can that be when all thoose people died?"
"You seem to contain alot of power young one, but cleansing yourself from the plague
drained you. Was it not the healing rites we casted on you, your body would be scarred and
hurting." Castiel looked back at the work the guards was performing.
"Why would you heal me?"
"The one I serve wanted you to be healthy and walking around, not laying around in a room
crippled from pain. You should feel honored that he has taken an intrest in you, it's the first
time I've seen that happen"
"Am I prisoner or am I free to leave?"
"You are not a prisoner but the great one wishes to invite you to stay here, he wants me to
find out how you could withstand the powers of the plague, you have my word that no harm
will come to you whichever you pick." Castiel faced the man and extended his hand.
"If I agree will theese experiments stop?"
"They will stop no matter what your answer is it's to risky to continue at this time, they might
start back up later if we deem it necessery however if it's your wish I will make the request to
suspend them indefinitely."
"It is my wish, please don't hurt or kill anyone else, I will give you whatever your Lord wants
from me." The man shakes Castiels hand.
"Follow me." Castiel start walking towards a stone platform in the edge of the cave, he turned
towards the man and told him to step on it and then followed. They teleported to a small
room in a city that had been crafted inside of a cave and was almost purely made of marble
they walked while guards watched them looking confused. Castiel led on to something that
looked like a library there were shelves from floor to roof standing against all walls and
towards eachother breaking a big room into smaller reading areas with a few armchairs and
small tables for holding drinks, candles and books.
He went to the end of the room and turned left into one of the reading areas and took a seat
and geastured towards the other chair offering it to the man, he then poured some tea into
one of the cups and broke some bread.
"This library holds all the knowledge passed down to us from the great one, it is our best
chance of destroying the order of Nature and ultimatly destroying this circle."
"Why have you brought me here?" Said the man while devouring his food.
"Becouse the reason for your being is in one of theese books, our job is to find that book and
find out how you could survive the plague" Castiel gave him more bread.
"Does your Lord not know who or what I am?"
"I assume he does however he wants to test you and to some degree me, if we cannot find it
then we are not worthy of that information. He wants us to earn the information he holds or
we are not worthy of the power he gives us."
"Have you ever heard of anyone surviving the plague like I did?"
"There are cures out there but you did without any outside help which is a remarkable gift
and it should be valued by all men. I haven't heard of anyone doing it before you but it's
possible that somebody existed before my time and the incident wasen't written down."
"So where do we start?" Said the man before eating the last piece of bread.
"This section most likely holds the book that we need, keep in mind that the current Cult
isen't responsible for all the things that you might read in theese books."
His hand moved over the back of the books from shelf to shelf untill his fingers and eyes
were drawn to one of the books. It's back was colored in stripes there was black, white, green
and orange he took the book and handed it to Castiel while saying.
"This is it, I feel drawn to it, connect with it."
Castiel put the book back that he was reading and ran his fingers across the front of the book
he had been handed then slowly opened it, flipping through the pages untill he
reached the end then he closed it carefully and spoke with a low voice.
"If this really is the book then the question to what you are is answered however I am still
unsure to who you are."

Chapter two
Castiel left the book on the table and went into another reading area and picked out a book
then returned quickly, he opened the book and read out loud.
"The great one showed us a sign over the farm where the boy lived and we made our way
there and walked inside and where we were met by the boys father armed with a pickaxe and cut
him down. His mother grasped him tightly and we had to rip the boy from her hands before
she joined her husband in the after life, we then brought him to Wind where he was to be
showed the true meaning of pain."
Castiel put the book down and sighed and took a seat.
"That boy was like you, the great one showed them where they could find the boy and he
resisted the plague and refused to tell them what they wanted to know despite months of
torture, it simply made him stronger and when he was rescued by the order of Law they
taught him how to fight and he nearly ended the existence of the cult.If it was not for
the great one personally involving himself we would be but a shadow in the darkness."
The man was shocked and stared at Castiel before clearing his throat and speaking with a low voice.
"You said you knew what I was, tell me."
"You're a human with powers granted by a virtue. There are shrines around the lands that were
built in honor of men like you, eight of your kind has been born into this world and done great
things showing the humans of theese lands that they can rise to the occassion and vanquish
their oppressors. The only mystery now is why the great one wanted you to remain here and
what your powers are."
The man had picked up the book and held it in one hand and ran his fingers across the pages,
it seemed to calm him down and help him deal with the things he was being told.
Castiel continued "The writing says that when you stand in the presence of them you feel
overwhelmed by their power and their virtue spills onto you, it would give a farmer the
courage to stand against a thousand men without fear in his heart. Your power is still
unknown but if you focus and practice perhaps you will find out."
The man closed the book and sighed. "What powers did the last one have and what happend
to him, you said that he almost ended your reason to being."
"Justice, his power was unmatched however he did not only attack us, he killed or punished
anyone who had wronged in this world and it was a slaughter, everybody was a victim when
he was around. He was very young when Tekstone found him and they attempted to turn him
using torture and eventually he was rescued by the Order of Law and he threw the world off
balance and nobody knows what would've happend if he had destoryed the altar that Tekstone
draws their power from."
"What does this book have to do with it and why do I feel drawn to it?"
"That book contains the strongest rituals from each of the religons and it draws power from
something similar to our altar but much more powerful, we have attempted to use that book
in the past however the one who tried almost died from the pure power being channeled into
his body. It also has a last page with rituals we have never seen and we have no idea what
they do, perhaps in time you will be able to tell us about them."
