Description:
Evil, a curious word used to define the school of magic known as Necromancy and as such, those who practice it. Necromancers harness immense power, the magic of the dead some would say, though the vilification of those who practice this peculiar school of magic happens more often than not, the villainy of a Necromancer should be weighed on the actions with which he uses his power. A Necromancer is not necessarily evil incarnate, to him, his choice of studies was not necessarily for nefarious purposes. The misconception comes from a lack of understanding, when the masses shun what they do not know or understand, there is little chance of redemption for those who have been scorned. The Necromancer does not just have Necromancy in his arsenal however, he is able to make use of many of the spells in the arcane spell book that mages cast from as well as being fairly proficient with a staff. Much like anyone else, Necromancers can walk the line of the virtuous or turn to a life of malevolent acts. Do not fear what you do not understand, there are redeeming qualities even in the darkest of rooms.
