Alright, if any of you fellas are interested in participating in the making of the RP part of the new world, now is your chance.
Unlike in the old Pangaea, we want the new one to have a solid RP ground and history to build on. Of course the last ten years will be part of it, but we still have questions to answer: Why Trinsic is a magnificent city? Why Britain is the capital? And why things are as they are in the beginning of the new Pangaea.
Where I have plenty of ideas to go on, it's still a lot of work and for that help is appreciated.
Therefore I'm in a need of writers. Together with me we will brainstorm ideas for different places, build them a rich history starting from the first settlers and going through the past 10 years to the point we begin the new world at.
If you're interested, comment here or send me a PM.

Re: Who wants to participate in the lore and history?
Just some food for thought here, no RP - there are others out there that can write the Roleplay better than I.
Maybe Brit isn't the capital but Trinsic is, but the believers of Winchester back in the day (before the new religion thing) eventually placed their temple there and it is the city where most felt safe.
The old religions slowly lost faith in their gods and looked for higher/better/more powerful/more reasonable dietys which is where the new religions come into play? (Could add easter eggs of old ruined temples of the old religions?)
There has been a truce of all fighting for the past <insert time frame here> because of the lack of faith in old religions
The constant barrage on the mobs instead of people has led to the mobs etc multiplying/moving area/found new dungeons to live in/changed the scenery of their dungeon?
Tekstones Circle of Destruction never came about or maybe it did but not in the way people think it would have. Maybe the circle of destruction or whatever it was, simply destroyed the religions or peoples faith giving them no hope or whatever, thus the reason for the new religions.
Something to play with, they probably all suck a$$ but that's my moneys worth for now.

Oh and yes, like Percy already did, even if you don't want to join the writer's squad, feel free to post ideas here.
Re: Who wants to participate in the lore and history?
just so i can keep my mind occupied with some possibilites, are we going to go with the idea that the order of imperial appeared later (as it did in game) or the four gods were already there from the beggining?
also, this question goes for many other things.if the story must go exactly as things happened, it would be good to have the ppl that were here from the beggining (not my case) to help

I can come up with story or two, but ofcourse to do this I'd love to know a bit more of the whole picture of the pangaea's current story and which locations or races or w/e need stories to be written of.

Maybe the webpage/forums could feature stories about notable characters/families/guilds?

Re: Who wants to participate in the lore and history?
I'd be willing to type up some stuff, but I'd want a stringent guideline with points and ideas. I'm not super interested in spending time working on stuffily to have it rejected (admittedly I would gladly submit stuff I've already written).
One of the things I'd really like to take under my wing is the Shabooli history, as I've said elsewhere I've got a ton of material I've already written including something specifically meant for Pangaea but was put on hold due to lack of time and a general lack of, I'm going to say interest but only in that I really wanted it to become a good volume of work that would actually be adopted into the Pangverse but felt that at the time with the current staff on hand the focal point wasn't so much increasing the Pangverse in terms of RP but increasing it in terms of new shines baubles. Also I have a piece of work I have been working on in terms of the Shabooli people which is intended more for a D&D campaign that'll probably never get off the ground but goes more into depth as a "technical study" of the Shabooli race where I use real people (Aboriginies of Australia and New Guinea as well as other Pacific Islander cultures) as a basis to put together day to day life of Shabooli in their villages, explaining their totemic religion, giving Sha'bul (The name I gave to the language of the Shaboolis) words and phrases to various items and tools as well as various rituals Shabooli undertake not necessarily as a whole people but also on a regional basis. I know some of these, in particular will probably bring nothing to UO the game but could be used to enhance future RP if someone wants to say, play their character as Shabooli.
I'd be more than willing to articulate others ideas if there is shyness in writing stuff up as long as I have a focal point as well as of course throwing in my Shabooli stuff. One is as I stated more a "textbook study and format" where as the other is more of a story. I'm most proud of the "text book" version which cuts out a lot of the propagandization I put into the other bit.
