if you are doing resource gathering on malas map, don't drop anything overweight on top of your obsidian mounts(not sure about live mounts). If you do, the stuff doesn't drop to you feet and will disappear.
BUT... dont panic and worry, you can retrieve it
the stuff has landed on felucca map that's all. so just switch automap to felucca and check where your character is, mark the place and get someone to rush there as fast as you can before it disappears.
Alteran said it CANNOT be fixed so better watch out to save you all the trouble.

one smaller problem for you the player is that it can be stuck in mid air.
It all animals , since when they build the core they forgot that core command to look at realm.
