Ocllo has guards and harvestables. It has no moongate, so if you're a magic user you are privileged to use the recall spell (45 magery and you're good to go).

also, if reagents are too expensive for fighting,
you can train Mace Fighting and use staffs and similar.

You can also recall to the vendors in towns and gather huge amounts of reagents for alhemists. I personally pay 5 golds per ginseng and nightshade. But as mentioned before, this talk belongs to an RP thread.
