Is the shard always so laggy? Today it's awful. I can't seem to play, as it freezes every two steps. This is a big no-no for a shard with online not exceeding 20...

Nopp i go with very low ping.
Sometime the server does a antivirus scan. Only then i experience lag.
Edit: Download UoTrace from the website so see how your connection to the shard is.

Could also be your internet connection.... Not that its slow but how many connections it has to pass through until it gets to the server... This has been my problem for years.
