Classing?

i actually just have a question for my own knowledge, If when a character classes a specific skill is a tertiary but i baseclass you train it past its classed limit does it automatically go down to its own limit or if i dont use that skill at all after classing it will remain un-decreased? or also will it show it as un-decreased but the script for the char specifically says how much each skill is max and even if it is trained over that it makes no difference

if I have 65 wrestling and my class can have 40 it will go down to 40 when I class.

so it will automatically go down? even if i dont use the skill?
