Well, for many who don't know i live so far from the server and just can use 3D to play.
In the Repsak's time, i could play here with 2D and avalon with the same speed, but i Dont know the why i can't play with 2d again. I just use it to macroing sometimes and use 3D to keep playing here, and can tell you the most of players run fast than me using 2D against my 3D. The most of players here just hate 3D because os the graphics?
Could tell me a bit about this 3xx cleint? I get knowing which when this come, 3D will be banned from the shard and my life here too. This new project will be good, same for who live far away from the server location? Please, tell me what you know, before I spend hours macroing for nothing.

I live in Canada and when I used 3.xx client (don't remember which one exactly), there was no lag at all. So if they are able to bring it back, it should at the very least be playable.

which repsak time are yu talking about? Because before turning into poll 96, 3.00x client is what we used to make NA players just as fast as Eu players. Soo 3.00 is not something new its something old being modified to fit poll96. Dunno if that helps.
What could be usefull is staff actualy tellign us where in development 3.00 client is. Is it still posible or have we hit a hard rock.
I said this before and will say it again I would much rather play on 3.00x then 3d client. But right now 3d is only solution for me just like you. If they bann 3d with out geting 3.00 working they'll be throwing 30-40% of the player base out of the window. 30-40% might be bit off because there is allways group of people who plays this game religiusly so they will continue to play it regardless of lag. But Normal people will be gone
And yes EU people dont get on 3d because its ugly. And it is ugly.

As mentioned before, 3.xxx is basicly the same thing as .aos off back in 2002-2005. Those can be taken to use, but it's massive stuff. We need to change a lot of graphics, change the map, disable certain POL96 features and so forth. I can't say how long it will take, as Wille's the right man to answer, but it'll go to the distant future.
