The problem was non gm provo'ers using it on high end mods that gms put in and not enough knowlege of how provo worked at the time, not me or any other gm provo'er thanks =]
Gms although they nerfd it they stopped macro training and keept the same gain rate.... ouch!

As mentioned before, there were clear flaws in the system. A ravager could be provoked with 40% skill and so on.

well, the ravager thing i understand, obviously. wanderer of the void should be afraid of provocation! i demand that we instakill wandered with provocation skill 
i guess these changes don't make it totally useless, but it sure is a bit harder if you must have the monsters together and can't provo against some creatures. still useful though. but the macroing and 2 target thing is just stupid.
well, hilda, i can "macro" it, with several targets and a script that changes targets. but why? WHY?
what skills are actually unmacroable except taming and lockpicking?...
this macroing thing doesn't make sense at all. or then, i'm missing another way to be able to macro

Aye, no pointing fingers. Was mostly abuse on some people's solo hunts.
The only time it could of been perceived as abuse was with the ravengers, which was fixed long ago by removing and replacing their spawns honestly.
Doesn't matter now, this Provo change will make a ton of bards switch now.
