I knew you would say this. You forget that Imperial veritas did not work against Nature, but Nature veritas worked against Imperial. Therefore your claim in invalid. Of course the above might have been a bug and hopefully fixed, but still it's the reason it failed.Demian wrote:It does not prove how flawed and veritas-based the system is. Give Tekstone veritas and we will take Occlo from Nature - although this is only if Law cannot summon guards in Occlo?
Oh, and almost forgot Sacrifice.

Wrong again. Veritas was fixed in time for Ocllo siege.Darian Darkmind wrote:I knew you would say this. Oh, then I'm sorry and I agree, Imperial failed and nothing to whine about Occlo. I don't know how fair the fight was in numbers, but that's not your fault. One of the reasons Imperial failed in Trinsic though was because of veritas not working.
Anyway, yes it still proves how veritas-based system is. It requires veritas to win and veritas to defend. If you don't have veritas you don't stand a chance. It didn't work in Trinsic so they failed. Might be they had failed anyway, but we can never know for sure now. They also failed in Occlo even when they had veritas, but they failed because you too had veritas. If you didn't have veritas, I'm sure you would have had huge problems. Occlo was a fair fight (at least ritual-wise) which they happened to lose, but you still won it with the use of veritas. When you do it without veritas is when you proof it doesn't require veritas.

Imperials have veritas and guards, but they're squelched by opposing religion veritas. Tek has advantage of not being squelched by veritas. That's a very big advantage, which, I think, you don't seem to appreciate. I'd say Tek's actually are relatively harder opponent for Law/Nature than Imperial is.Darian Darkmind wrote:Oh, then I'm sorry and I agree, Imperial failed and nothing to whine about Occlo. Also, Law/Nature proved that it IS actually possible to conquer a city from guardcasting/veritascasting religion. So all those pages of that talk are moot now.
EDIT: If you truly want veritas, sure, go ahead, I don't mind, but then you should also give up the squelch-immunity ya have atm.

And we gladly will, after all, after that you're as much squelched as we are.Jyrgen wrote:Imperials have veritas and guards, but they're squelched by opposing religion veritas. Again, you only proved that a veritas casting religion can take over a town. Congratulations to you, you only proved all my points to be true. Do the same without veritas and then you're in our shoes.

Give me 10 laws that can cast malleus, and sure And make Law immune to squelch of veritas, while we're at it?
Anyway, pointless to argue on about this.

Sure, and in return we remove veritas and guards from you and give them to Tekstone.Jyrgen wrote:Give me 10 laws that can cast malleus, and sure And make Law immune to squelch of veritas, while we're at it?

If you want that then your balls are bigger than I thought.
Re: Town Siege
Gms give tekstone OP tome so i dont have to read this crying ever again. I bet they would still cry about something.

Less veritas, more siege.
