There has been a topic like this. People voted aslong it was active as you said, but it got lost and the voting stopped. Make it easy, sticky please.

I guess if people spam it enough, it won't get lost. I think making it sticky will make people forget about it, cause no new posts are needed in that topic anymore etc.

Sticky dosen't mean you can't spam it, just makes it on top in the forums like "Donation Status"
