A .mayor command, just like .house command would be nice. Running back to the stone everytime is no fun.

I left a bard vendor... I don't know why it isn't there anymore.

Hilda, I think you can find a Carma the Bard in my back garden (Blackthorn's Castle)... Next time, would you send me a gardener? THe bard is too loud at nights...

Plague isn't the reason.

I think what happened is that I added that new bard mob, but it's npctemplate conflicted with the existing one or something, so couldn't be spawned. The one at Nympheas castle was spawned by Mox on accident I think.

Anyways. He's back.

I havent read the thread but one thing is worrying me.

Mayors that now have the ability to place NPCs should be obliged to follow some RP standards. It is weird that some NPCs are being placed just for player's commodity. For example, putting healers in places just to be near strategical points on fighting doesn't fit well in RP standards imo. If we go down that road, we will eventually have places with all sort of vendors just to make it easier for a player to not run from one spot to another and the buildings that were supposed to be thematic for a kind of vendors will eventually be empty.

Caution mayors caution. :D

When speaking of a town like Nujel'm there is no reason why the healer is where he is, he is at the chess board, I plan to move him to a more central area out of my own pocket of course I do not see why this is a real issue tbh. Another plan of mine is to centralize vendors and class masters so that people do not have to run all over creation to find what they are looking for, again convenience, what's wrong with that? Convenience for not just nujelm's citizens but for visitors in general, I guess I under stand if I placed a healer right outside my house if I have an alchemist but that kind of abuse is easily found out and could be easily addressed, we don't need to bog down a system that isn't even finished with rules and regulations, if we make it too big of a pain in the ass, it'll hardly be worth customizing towns and cities to fit its inhabitants needs.

what cyrus says is somewhat true, but what about all the vendor houses being empty like ranokan is talking about?i'd hate to see more empty houses in towns, it's already bad that we have many many buyable empty houses.

this reminds me of something.
we're talking of money sinks and house value all over the forums.
why not have a way that if people donate huge ammounts of money to that city, the house value in that city becomes a bit lower?after millions and millions and millions and millions of money, it would actually pay off and we could see ppl having more houses.

i would even take out the inns except for britain, it's annoying to see empty inns everywhere and i'm sure ppl who buy inns outside britain could afford a 243k house already
