A new contract needs to be signed in July (or in the end of June). We could possibly upgrade the current connection from 100 mbps to 1000 mpbs... if we receive enough donations.

Are there any issues that would be solved by that?

Does it mean less latency? Yes.
Does it make enough of a difference? Maybe, maybe not.

Most likely a POL upgrade (96 > 98 > 99) will have more effect. That's our target when possible, but it's a long project as well.
