Will we ever see pang make a move too runuo again?

What I like to think is that it could be taken back on, but have it introduced in baby steps. By this I mean reproduce the classic pangaea we all know and love [pang 1] and introduce new items/patches as new eras in the history. throwing out the old and in with the new over a period of time to have an ever growing shard, which in time will accomplish the goal of the previous attempt. This also allows the loyal players to progress through the story to a place POL can never let us achieve.

so what do you guys the players and the gms think...

Step 1. Recreate not reinvent pangaea 1.
Step 2. Reinvent pangaea 1 from this, by introducing new patches one by one with pangaea's playing style as a new eras in history.

The answer is simply no. Upgrading POL is doable, changing core is a no-go.

Perhaps he is just fed up from Master Boris crap and tries to become his own boss, steals us into other server etc.

Of course it' possible, if we kill all other scripting / developement for... x months. Upgrading from 95 to 96 took 3 months from Repsak. It's no small project and it may also be a gamble.

Just out of curiosity what would POL 98 enable?

The main thing to hope for is better packet handling, which would help guys playing from US.

Do notice the "hope". Jumping from POL95 to POL96 only made things worse, so it's a gamble.
