This is for any discussions about skills. Quite a few skills work differently now, so we need to decide if the new way is better or if we'd like to tweak it in any way.

Might be for a skill, not sure... but the skill book when you flip through is causing a crash, not sure if it's just me but thought I would mention it.
by skill book I mean the one in the paperdoll, the "move" book or whatever that's called

I have a kryss equipped and when I get to the ignore armor move page and click to go to the next page that is when the crash occurs, tested 3 times now, same page. will continue test and edit as it goes on.

Ok this appears to be a bug related to using Razor.
Switched over to UOSteam and didn't encounter the bug

Generally speaking UOSteam seems lot more stable than Razor. At some point I'll see if we can run some tests with Razor to see if we can get it working, but UO Steam seems much better at this point.

Healing others with bandages seems to be waaaaaaay faster than healing yourself. Is this a bug or is it meant this way?

As mentioned below, I think this is as intended and likely to stay this one. One note about healing, from what I'm told the speed of your healing is now somewhat dependant on your dex. Will have to do some more tests with this later.

Change eesisting spells to work as on preaos era instead this %determines your base resist. There are very few spells that resist affects. So tweak it to work likenon pangpol.. thats better if we going to have different materials and stuff. But then if we take that road some monsyers need to be tweaked as they are meant to be fought with 70resist.

Such things cannot just be changed. Like you said, if we go down that road a lot of other things need changing as well.
So we need to take things in steps such as:
-Change whole resist system
-Change whole pvp
etc etc.

Initially, we need to try and get this as Pangpossible and focus on what's necessary for that effect. Else we'd take months to release the shard.

So focus on that :)

Can we get distance added to tracking? Currently it only seems to point the direction and no distance.

Ive been wondering what will happen to bards. Will they get own bard song/spells or will they be left for total support for tamers?

Also id like to ask about whole skill system. In aos era if your skill isnt 100 its totally useless. And if its not 110 its just less useless. Cause max is at 120 and thats more likely the point thats close pangpols 115. Success rates on crafting raise by .2 for each .1 of a skill and when u hit 50% success rating u can make exceptional items. And chance starts from .2 and raises same way. Will we given opportinity to gain all the way to 120 or will we be stuck in 100 and later on with heighten system get more? Also with current settings u dont benefit from skill bonus jewels as they dont raise skills over cap. Only benefit from those while training.

IMO would be better to set caps 100/90/75 than 100/85/65.

One this is also mages and macefighting.. with the weapon property called mage weapon -xx u can sacrifice some of your magery to use the weapon with equal skill it is needing but just magery is the skill it will use. And also spell channeling is needed for any weapon for mages to wear while casting. Will staffs get this as base property or will u turn magery as skill that doesnt need spell channeling.(like chivalry, spellweaving)

ninjitsu is listed as a skill selectable during character creation.

It shouldn't be in the book that you use to select skills though.

When you use the book to "create" a character in the star room there are a few (out of place?) ones.

Bushido, Chivalry, Focus, Ninjitsu
