Lack of RP

First: This topic is NOT to flame anyone, just to make it clear.

I was reading the forum when i noticed that in RP boards the activity is very low, seems nobody bother to post histories and episodes that happen in game...i came back again few days ago to Pangaea and saw very litle stuff in those boards and that make me think "Why is that happening...Theres nothing good enought to be talked or posted...to give some activity to these boards?" I even miss the old discussions...

Well, see this post as a discharge of thoughts...and maybe a way to encourage people to think a litle more about RP and post there their ideas.

You only have one post up yourself :P About plague of all things! Simply put though, if there is nothing to post about, then nothing will get posted.

Because there is a major difference between roleplay and story writing. A person can roleplay sometimes but might suck big time at story writing. Though of course a good story writer is usually pretty good at roleplay.

I was not talking about me, i just came back one week ago or so, i was just saying that i noticed some differents...but maybe it is because is summer and few people bother to write or think about something...

Well to be quite honest, there seem to be more people around right now then before summer. All the oldies seem to be coming back anyway. You just got to realize most of us did the RP scene for so long that it gets old to do it on the boards. I would much rather do it in game than have tards mess up a good thread. Melkor pretty much posted a wonderful example of me trying to make some RP with nature and it becoming a public board all of a sudden, even though it clearly says on the rules it is illegal to respond without the authors permission.
