Computer Problems

Alright, heed this call my computer literate friends. My computer used to run 512mb DDR2700 RAM. I installed into my system two sticks of 1gb DDR3200. I know 3200 is compatible with 2700 but not vice versa. Anyways, ever since then my computer has become blazing fast (to me) BUT the problem is, now programs crash on a consistent basis. What could be causing this? Anyone able to help would be greatly appreciated.

Run this and see if you get any errors. If you get more than a handful something is wrong with the BIOS configuration, or less likely, with the memory sticks.
