Ok.
I know that I'll be criticized for wanting to nerf yet another thing, and since everyone (or mostly everyone has a religious chars, i'll be even more criticized :P)

imo, religions are about choosing a type of ideal that you rp and try to be better than others by rping your way to beat theirs, pvp against them, etc etc
whatever you can to make your religion be superior to others.
ofc, this could happen in a shard without religions, you'd just make guilds with story and that's that. But there are religions here, so..

What I seriously don't like is the fact that people just sort of use the religion to pvm in an easier way. Rites make it easier and then stuff happens like, if you die and can't be rescued by friends, guards save the day, while everybody else has it the hard way.

Can't we make it so that religions don't have an easier life than everybody else just because?

(I just came back to uo as you all know, so I apologize if changes have been made since I last played here. Try to take that into consideration before flaming at will)

This would be good if not for the other nerf, it should be one or the other, not both.

Religious chars are bound by the rp of the religon and have responsibilitys within the religon which is why they get an easier life, should probebly find that guy who wants things nerf and light a fire up under him.

what other nerf?the piety one?

quintoz.responsibilities?are you going to tell me that, if for a religion it's not so easy to hunt, then how on earth are they going to get gear to fight other religions and therefore make them the best religion?"oh noes!we need easier hunting than non-religious chars!"

quit the crap
we all just use our religious chars to get richer. sure, if we like rp we rp aswell
but it's all nice and dandy to hunt easier with that char
if you started thinking about the shard and not your personal gain you could see this
I have religious chars, two, so this affects me.
I'm not trying to nerf everyone else so i can have an easier life.
I'm trying to nerf what needs to be nerfed and boost what needs to be boosted.

If you find it hard to hunt maybe you should train you char abit more and get 2 or 3 guys with you, we allways hunt in a party of 4 in law so not like we run around solo'ing shit.

wtf? I don't find it hard. That part was being ironic.
I just want it to be as hard or as easy as it is for everyone else.

Well it's easier for a bard to solo a balron and cloud using provo, I think that's abit to op when it takes 4 law priests to do it otherwise...

But in compensation, bards can't heal while running from people trying to hit them in PVP, or while hitting dragons, etc.
While priests are good against hmmm...everything
And bad against hmmm...nothing
Yeah

If bards are worse in some aspects, they deserve to be good in others no?
Thieves aren't good at pvp, they are good at picking looks and stealing. They deserve to be good at it.

I still want to see that, but ok.
Even with high provo, you fail a lot, and you need other monsters _very_ nearby who are good enough to kill the balron
