Your ideal Pangaea would be?

Mine:

- Priest max 40 piety except hp 50. Monk max 40. Piety would be quite easy to get, so no years of hardcore RP needed. If you want a super priest, aim for 105.0 base med, mace and healing, HP status with all-indy clothes & indy elite dskulls et cetera ;)
- Stoning, malediction, banishment, solitude and guard summoning would be permanently removed from tomes as major annoyances. :p
- Imperial would be even more bless based than now - their priests would have a weaker version of druid bless too (max +4 perhaps) available.
- Religious weapon bless would be mediocre when used on mace weapons, good when used on other weapon types. Encourages playing religious knight and such.
- Guards would be nerfed, at the moment only way to attack enemy towns is summoning your own guards. Guys in shop-grade iron gear kill dragons... wtf. They should be like juka lord level.

Edit: I forgot - priests should get mauls back as mace-type weapon religionbless would get a nerf. (Scepters look dumb too!)

Just my five cents.

Tell me about yours :p

I could agree on every point here, everyone is lootable as well. You can all say merchants aren't really affected by this crap but check out how 'well' my wifes sale is doing ;)

Robbers (staff approved) looting should be extended from gold+gems to all but identified magic items and tailored/smithed items (& stat jewels). Until we reach 100 playerbase for a week. :D

Edit: personally I would not fight back probably, I would just give all they ask. As long as I can keep my lovely taming cloth and so on. I carry max 50k with me, no big deal. And I really doubt it pisses any smith off badly if ONE mining trip is ruined by robbers randomly.

100 playerbase for a week is lol'ish. Let's be serious this is a dying game, having the greatest shard on the face of the planet won't change that.

Some OSI-style 0% RP crap shards have a playerbase of 200, even tho the shards suck. Sick, sad world! The reason is they are hosted by official RunUO staff or so making them well known. There used to be a shard, Andromeda, in Finland, which definitely packs no punch at all when compared to Pangaea (unless you are somewhat nuts and prefer everyone having just similar chars with just similar armors and so on), but it was full of people and the IRC channel in Quakenet had a damn huge list of players too.

And.. edit:

For UO being dying, I'm used to 320x200 with 256 colors & MS-DOS! Like Ultima VI and Ultima VII. VIII sucked, tho. It was no Ultima but Super Mario. UO graphics are too modern :p

OoN would be busy giving lessons to all the dog hunters :D

I apologize my friend, I do not agree to your points. Under normal circumstances, I could understand your frustration, but lately I see little more than constant complaining about classes you don't even use. Most of us like the game just the way it is, and it's not about what gear you have, it's how you use it.

Seriously guys, stop whining. Please? I usually don't say please, but even I'm getting annoyed with all of the "lets nerf this! Let's change that!" crap.

Honestly...

Whine means progress. And things have been changed like at least 5 times a year + the shard is 7 years old or so - meaning: things have been and will be changed and the so called "whine" has partially been a major factor when things have been remade.

Edit: Mostly when I talk about "balance", it is PvP related, and PvP revolves around religions, this is why priests, rituals and so on have been the center of my attention.

PvM, that be easy. Gold making, that be easy too. It's just about grinding.
