Small change in piety system

Post by Boris »

The so called 40 piety trustee spots are now history.

Everyone who has been elected as a 40 piety trustee, has been granted their piety and that's it. No more. Basicly this means everyone and every class will have to gain their piety from 10 to 40 normally through the altar. There's no shortcut no matter what your status is, unless you're chosen as a SiC (50 piety).

So what brings about this change? Why are we taking away something that was otherwise a goal for some players?

Somehow it makes sence. But with that removal id like to see Head Monk, Head Knight to be back.

We think the spots were used for wrong purposes. An shortcut to bigger piety.

Head Monk/Head Knight/Head Ranger not needed. Those classes have been boosted otherwise a lot.

You can still gain 40 piety and forward through the altar timer.

Makes sense, piety should be earned.

Piety should definitely be earned, was just wondering what happens to the current trustees?
