Can anyone be kind enough to either summarise or point me in the right direction of a summary as to the things that have changed on pangaea. I don't really mean the technical details, just as to the state of each religion, who are the big players these days etc. If I intend to play again this might be useful knowledge!

Would be a good idea to make a cliff notes thread, I may get into that on a slow day.

nice to see the old faces returning!

The interesting things that have been changed:
- new ores/bones/hides (with cool properties might i add, and hard to come by so every newb wont have a set)
-new monsters
- religions are now alot more balanced
- magical bone/leather can be found of stuff like dragon bone or troll hide etc
- looting rules so cant loot clothes (which is a good thing atm cos of people using 3d to advantage in pvp)

can't think of anything else that makes a massive influence to gameplay but as someone said check shard announcements wille has been scripting and changing loads of things, all for the better.

And the last and the most important, I was defiled and stripped from 80 piety!

Isnt it funny that people being robbed need to deal with that kind of shit becouse of some stubborn people in religions
