If you want to write a player guide (i.e. about a class, getting started, etc.) , post one here and I'll add them to the new website.

This thread is only for guides. Extra comments will be deleted.

Barbarian

They are strong hitters. Highest strength, low armor class. They get to wear full chainmail with a ringmail tunic. They have 85.0 healing skill, but if you go for a high strength build (175 base), you will have to rely on greater heals and health regeneration potions to use bandages to heal. They aren't meant to tank at all. Their purpose is to run into the battlefield, hit and go. You can however play a dexterity build and in my opinion, a good build still. You'll hit fast and hard. Not as hard as a pure STR build which has slower swing/hit ratio IMO, but still a good build.

Requirements to join / skills of a Barbarian

The Barbarian

At primary (100%): { Anatomy, Parrying, Camping, Tactics, Swordmanship, Mace Fighting, Fencing }
At secondary (85%): { Detecting Hidden, Enticement (Leadership), Resisting Spells, Tracking, Wrestling, Veterinary, Healing }
At tertiary (65%): { None }
At penalty (40%): { Arms lore, Item Identification, Cooking }

Maximum strength: 175
Maximum intelligence: 60
Maximum dexterity: 110
Maximum combined stats (statcap): 270

Stats required to join: Str: 85, Dex: 70, Int: 10
Skill required to join: Tactics 65%
Either of these skills are required as well: Swordmanship 65%, Mace fighting: 65%, Fencing 65%

Why play a Barbarian?

They are easy to max and heighten. They hit hardest without needing a priest bless, meaning... they hit the hardest of non-religious classes. They are the easiest to play in a melee fighter compared to others. The armor cost is cheapest among other classes in melee. You take the most damage of a melee class in direct physical damage, but also deal the most. A good trade.

(Something else I wanted to add, but I forgot what it was. Hope this helps though.)

Feel free to re-write how you want but this it how early pang goes.

(Guides for Skills* will be found at the bottom)

Getting Started as Fighter.

You can choose 3 skills to start with. One with 50% and two with 30%.

I suggest:

Skills:

50% Healing. - It will help you so much in the beginning when you are training.
30% Tactics
30% This depends on what class you are going for. Look at the -Required to join- and choose. Will often be a fighting skill as Macefighting, Swordsmanship or Fencing. Perhaps even Archery or Parrying. If you are going priest you want 30% Meditation.

(Some like to start with 50% Magic Resistance but that is easy to train once you have maxed your healing later on in the game. Id rather have an easier early game.)

Stats:

50 Strength - Because you will wanna wear good armor when training
10 Dex
10 Int

What to do

Now when you are done choosing the skills/stats you will be thrown out into the world with no gold, a dagger and some cloths.
First thing you gotta do is fix your stats so you can wear decent armor. (Armor guide below)

To fix your stats you should harvest. It's easy and you get gold by selling what you harvest. With the gold you buy the required training weapons. The weapon to use at your skill level can be found on the website.
You should harvest Corn and Flax/Cotton until you hit atleast 72 Strength. You start by selling the corn to vendor. You should also harvest Flax/Cotton to make bandages. You can make the Cotton/Flax into bandages at the tailor shop in town. You will use these bandages during your training. Make sure to save some food you harvest as you must eat.

I suggest you take a look at the Britain Noobie Market. It can be golden. Most of the times you will find perfect training armor. With 72 Strength you can wear chainmail that will help alot in training against monsters. If you do not find any armor, harvest more food to sell and buy at the vendor smith.

So now you got decent stats, armor and the required training weapons. Now it's time to hit the real training. I suggest you go up to the mountain near the dungeon Despise. Alot of Lizards that are willing to hit you. Keep killing monsters that you can handle until you hit 65% Tactics and 65% in your fighting skill. The Healing wont have gained much as you gotta train this with poison later on. If you do not have the -Required- stats to join your class. Hit the fields. If it's Intelligence, start training Anatomy. You simply do that by using the skill Anatomy on different vendors, who at what skilllevel can be found below.

So when you joined class you wanna start by maxing your Anatomy, Your Fighting Skill, Tactics. Anatomy is easy to macro. For the Tactics and Fighting Skill you gotta keep killing monsters. I find this easier to do if I train some Healing first. Healing guide found below. To train healing you drink a posion. Then cure it, and repeat. There is a EasyUO script for this to make it less painful. (Found below). Train Healing on lesser posions up to 60. Because it's cheap and easy. Then continue on killing monsters to gain your fighting skills. Remember to loot everything and sell. You will need gold to buy more Poison to train Healing. When you got more gold you should buy Normal Poisons to train healing 60 - 70/75. You will need to contact a player alchemist to buy the poisons. Train it near the town healer incase you would die. If you get someone to donate Poison Resistance Armor for you it will get alot easier. If you used all your bandages, just harvest more Flax/Cotton.

To train your healing further you must reskill. I suggest you max your fighting skill before doing this. You reskill by finding a person that is willing to do it. Then kill him and resurrect him. Over and over again. You will gain Healing by ressing him. A Necromancer is often willing to be killed like this because he can gain Spiritspeak this way.

If you keep killing monsters, keep resskilling you can max your Tactics, Healing, Fighting Skill. Maxing your Anatomy is easy by macroing. By now you should have a hang of the game and can find your own guides for the skill you wanna train.
