Despise is from now on officially a newbie dungeon.
- You are not allowed to introduce any form of PvP inside Despise.
- If however the RP has been done outside of Despise and the victim/enemy runs inside Despise, normal PvP/looting rules apply.
Proper signs have been added infront of Despise to alert all players.

Very good start. Let's hope they don't camp outside Despise now

Also the punishments for spamming, whining, flaming, etc. will be boosted for now on. Monad will update you with the details tomorrow.

Please include IG jail time along with forum jail! Otherwise this will always be a slap on the wrist.
Anyhow, I agree with Kent, nice going on nubbie support!

heh the despise decision by the staff was a good start, this topic doesn't seem to have started smoothly (:P) but maybe it's time to calm things down on the forums, there have been so many locked topics in the past weeks, and players fighting..
I myself don't worry, i know who the players are and i know that it's fine, they're just doing their usual stuff (sometimes it goes overboard), but i wonder if this does not make new players cba to stay here like "wtf more bullshit?"

Two completely different things that should never be mixed up. Perhaps in extreme cases (i.e. hacking, completely loosing it), but otherwise those two will always be seperated.

Gotta say I disagree. Its possible to just log into someoneelses account and read forums. If you really want to crackdown on flaming/whining then IG jail would be much more effective.
Actually forget IG jail...Id go for much harder hitting punishments like permanent stat/skill/piety loss on their character with the most online time (maybe im just evil).

We can ban IP's as easily as forum accounts. Forum is forum, IG is IG. Those two can't be mixed.
But, Monad will post someting about the future line tomorrow.

I know 100% that negativity on forums and arguements between us players can lead to turning players away. I've often browsed servers forums before making a decision of joining them. I'm just 1 person out of a zillion in the world. This more serious jailtime (sad it's only forum) will help. If it were more than forum though, maybe people would re-consider their strategies in posting before they make them. It's just a slap on the wrist to me, jailing their forum account. They still get to act the same in-game, and by jailing their forum no doubt makes them act more immaturely in-game. At least it stops public negativity that possible players would see and walk away from.
