The Staff has made a new rule regarding Robber Status.

That once you get robber status. You must become blue then get Law to remove it.
This rule change was not announced nor did the staff prepare anyone for it.

once you have the status 'robber' how long do you have it for ?everytime you log on or once you have it you have it for life? how do you get rid of it and can you get rid of it? just to clear some stuff up for me

If you want to be a robber, we tag you and it sticks. If you no longer want to be a robber, okay, we take the tag away. It's permanent, but can be removed.

If you're afraid to be tagged forever, that's not the case.

As this rule-change wasn't announced I think the staff should ask all the current .robbers if they wanna stay robbers.
Now that the robbers are informed of the new rule, some might re-consider.

many others had too go through the trial recently. infact i was the one that got gms to make decide on how it should be removed due too being told three differnt answers of three differnt gms about how to get it removed. [i got it removed free of charge due to no murder count and blue.]

Im pretty sure it is announced somewhere...

Just have a trial. pay your gold. done its removed your free of the status and blue again!

yes i know your original post "get out of jail free card" you no longer want ".robber" status so when and if in future you get a stone you can get free'd, people and gms can see rite through that.

like i said they made there decission many other things havnt been annouced latly either like not being able to use wands while playing instruments, some things get skipped over in the ever expanding world of pangeaea.

your trial would cost shit load whats your murder count...

If the staff make a huge change without informing the players that will be effected they should correct it.
Especially in a case like this where they informed something else from the start.

You are out of your element.
They changed the rules so that you gotta get Law to remove the .robber.
You cannot go forth and back from being a robber and not. Which is good.
I'm not sure what the staff said before if you wanted it removed. I never asked.

What the heck is this sh*t, so i cant turn from robber into normal red so simply? I cant understand the logic if i decide i want to start assist cult, i have to become blue and get lack acknowledge me as good person. Then again turn myself into enemy of law? Ridicilious.

.Robber tag was only meant to make active robbers unable to use safety of tekstone guards, thus imo it should be kept solely for that purpose.

If someone wants robber tag off and start helping cult, imo it should simply be okay as it is. My char aint coming blue again but depending on amount of action i get as a robber i might want simply turn myself into regular law fighting red.

EDIT: Ofcourse you are not supposed to be able to turn the robber tag simply on/off perhaps there should be somekind of time limit for this action to happen, like once a week max? Or it would have some kind of requirement, having to turn yourself into blue and get law remove the tag is just simply ridicilious bullsh*t.

In my opinion you shouldn't be able to go forth and back between .robber. But with the latest rule change they should ask the current .robber if they want the status to stick or not. So yeah, this.
