I see quite a few decent questions about the game in that chat - but mostly 12 or so hours after them being posted. It kinda sucks to see mostly new players go uncared for, as they seem to be under the impression that people hang out in the chat actively to answer questions and help them. I think we should try to direct them to the forums somehow, maybe make the forums more visible on the main site? Cause I don't see the same player names posting topics here so they might miss out.

Not a bad point. I'll try hanging out in there more and paying more attention. Was in there pretty frequently when I was doin' my Masters, but haven't been so much since.

yeah i think they should somehow be redirect to the forums because quite frankly this is where stuff happens.
i've been there a few times, nothing really seemed to happen even after one hour..
and we need to take good care of our newbies! we need more players!

I was in the chat once when bored at work. Saw Mike there, saw punch of random guests and no one said anything for few hours. A few days later when I tried again Mike answered.

Yes, it's a great system, but sadly if no one is attending it, we might have lost a lot of newbies.

Perhaps it is possible to add another window next to the chat. "Quick question" where you write a question and it directly takes it IG to an online councelor - if any is online. I'm not sure how hard this is to make or if it would backfire and cause someone to spam our councelors with porn, but I think that might be something to at least check.

My very first expression when joining the chat was pretty bad.
Hauling, trolling, badmouthing and whatnot.

I dont know, it should have rules to a certain limit.

I'm checking it out almost everyday for few months now and have seen pretty much zero that kind of behaviour. Maybe you should give it a new try…
