This will affect the future... from one problem raises another:

-> people losing their jobs / getting no jobs
... -> people getting mental illnesses and becoming alcoholics because of the unwanted situation
... ... -> children suffering of their parents' mental disorders
... ... ... -> in the school the children of disturbed families act violently towards children from "normal" families
... ... ... ... -> the children from "normal" families develop mental disorders

It'll "disable" people, and all the disabled people breed more disabled people.
