now, portugal are blocking like 90% of spain's usual thing (pass pass pass pass pass pass pass pass pass pass pass pass pass pass pass pass excelent pass shot goal)
only once or twice did i see spain actually being able to pass and do dangerous stuff. one shot from iniesta, and on other occasion, iniesta dribbling and passing (motherfucker!!!)
now, the problem with portugal is, they DON'T HAVE A FUCKING STRIKER. paulo bento, replace hugo almeida already!
spain (well, not spain, it's actually barcelona fc, but many of spain's players are from barcelona) are the best of the best (and the only ones that play like that, except for maybe arsenal) in short passes, great "off the ball" movement (is this the word?when you move yourself into free space so that your teammate passes you the ball) and finishing. it's not possible to be better than them, it's unbelievable. what i don't get it is, why do they play like this, and how can they do it superbly well when all the other teams in the world play differently?is it like, when they go to play for barcelona with 10 years old all they do for the next 8 years in their trainings is train passes and passes and more passes?

I'm hoping PK shootout can be avoided. But if it does go to that, Espana has the advantage in experienced goalkeeper. Portugal is playing VERY WELL, it is quite surprising. On one counter towards the end of the regular time, there were 4 forwards for Portugal available.
