I've been playing lots of UO and my usual NHL 16 GM mode and dabbling in Be a Pro mode every once in awhile.

Alpha for Darkfall: Rise of Agon started yesterday. Cannot get any closer to UO than that.

Doom

Once I finish the download that is, I'll be investing a lot of time into this new release. Anyone else going to be playing this?

i had no idea there was gonna be a doom 4 :D
i never even played doom 3, but who doesn't like fps games right? i might give both a try

i did play doom 1 and 2 though. awesome stuff. i have the feeling older games are just better. graphics may suck hard, but playability is tremendously better. i just looked up some videos of doom 1 and doom 3. i still wanna replay doom 1 more than i wanna play doom 3. although doom 4 looks kickass

Yeah man customizable weapons, perks to enhance the gameplay. Ripping demons body parts off and beating them with it. Stomping on their skulls or just ripping their faces off. So many finishers and awesome action packed into this game. It's supposed to take you back to the original Doom era and make you feel like you're playing an original just in a new skin. =) I won't get into all the details about this game, but if you liked these games in the past, definitely give this one a shot.
