I've met the real life equivalent, or close to that!

When I was younger and wilder, I occasionally ended up in jail (jail here doesn't mean prison however)! Last time was late summer 2011! I'm losing the touch...

I had a cellmate like that! A senile alcoholic who talked about "how youngsters of nowadays don't even know what a BOW SAW is"... he kept talking about saws, axes, lumberjacking and that's all he talked about. I replied like... "yes, times have changed, the world is different now, machines do the work". I wanted to say "shut up already" but decided it's easier if I keep listening and just say something occasionally. I tried to change the subject - he would do it but just for 30 seconds, forget, and go back to saws, axes etc.
