Barbarian speciality
Leather armor is best for sneaking, because it's literally made from hide.
Re: Barbarian speciality
Full chains is the most simple, following a usual KISS policy.
Re: Barbarian speciality
Full chains.
Dont need dice if the religions are already diced up over the non-religion classes.
The Barbarian might see a brither future anyhow, i dont think full chains are even enough - but we'll see.

Re: Barbarian speciality
Fulls chain option was more of a joke, but sure - I'll pull it through if necessary.
Do keep in mind this is it for barbarians. Nothing new, nothing special (with a gain) will be added in the future.
It's lock and load time.

Re: Barbarian speciality
Increased chance of crit when low on HP.
Class-wise it makes the most sense to me. It's a common and classic thing for the barbarian character class wherever you go.
Barbarians in clad in metal on the other hand doesn't make sense (to me) at all.

Re: Barbarian speciality
Yeah, sure - i agree, barbarians should be all about bash and smash, but the crit-chance favors PvP over PvM, there's close to no difference in PvM atleast.
I personally wouldn't take those risks in PvM, just for a small perk for what, 50 extra dmg?

Re: Barbarian speciality
Would love the image of baba's wearing only bones and suchs, but its not possible on pangaea due it would be too weak. There is no way to balance it so, even if they added 100hp on top of it, there is no way to recover after taking hit.Meghana Arroway wrote:Barbarians in clad in metal on the other hand doesn't make sense (to me) at all.

Re: Barbarian speciality
If it's all about mechanics, and prevailing in PvM/PvP, I understand completely. Forgive me, I'm just thinking about things from the RPer's point of view.
If mechanics-wise it would not make barbarians any stronger in certain situations, then it is probably not the best improvement for the class... Right?

Re: Barbarian speciality
The crit-chance would only be useful in all areas if it would be calculated in %'s not just damage cap.
For example, if the barb gets really mad, he takes like 30% off any mob, including balron with a critical hit.
PvP critting is pretty normal as it is, nothing fancy - all players are capped to a certain point of HP, but not mobs.
This is what makes it unbalanced and that's why i am giving a "No way" to that.
In the other hand, it could be like 3-9 crit hits in a row for PvM, in a row - then we'd talk.

Re: Barbarian speciality
At best critical hits do 200% damage. That's how/why hits close to 250dmg are possible in PvP.
Crit-hits work identical in both PvP and PvM. Except in PvM the hits are most likely higher due to mobs having no armor.
