So basically this change would make Elya have less str (Or rather, would let Elya have the same amount after blesses), while all the other monks would have more than before. Wohoo! :D

Anyway, I don't support the 65-->40 eval change.

It sounds as a viable option and non-Law aura Monks have also a small benefit in their magery not just tome.

Well you're getting more of the other stats than before, the blesses and the extra 10 statcap you can use, not to mention other benefits that come with higher med

Bless-wise it's suppose to be a +/- change. So basicly the extra meditation (in theory) is only ment to give a better success rate in rites.

Well, it still benefits me less than those average monks. But I don't care really :p

But nerfed past a priest, wearing studded armor only and using only one tile weaponry?

I understand the +/- ....but that's too negative.

It's isn't negative. Bigger blesses (easily) cover for the STR change and give you 100 Meditation.

Just want to point out that the diffrence between 95 and 110 is +15 guaranteed so you'll gain 5 more str after this change along with +15 to the other stats and 10 more statcap to put into another stat. Keep in mind that blesses are random but that's +15 ontop of your earlier blesses.

I honestly don't find it OP for a caster with one tile weapons to have more strength than a major damage melee char. Especially one with the same blesses and two tile weaponry, TWO tile here...with much more armor. It's not justified, but whatever it takes to correct a wrong of many years in the making.

Sorry but I don't understand what you're talking about with "too high str will screw up gloves".

I just tried Apotheosis (221 str, 159 dex, 100 wrestling, anat, tactics etc, 50 piety, exceptional ice fiend knuckles) and the max damage I did was around 60, minimum 30. And the damage didn't actually get any better against lower AR. So I don't really see how str would make wrestling really imba. But that's just me. Maybe I've misunderstood something.

EDIT: Up to 80 damage against a naked person.
