From my little experience w/ keening/veritas:
1 keening instakills my tamer every single time;
veritas was changed a while ago doing less damage now, I don't know of people getting down from one veritas.

Go train some resist and you dont get instakilled anymore. Something 55-60 resist is enough already.
Its pretty idiotic to compare veritas/keening. Sorry, but true story.

The difference is minor and all strengh depends on tomes piety and wands... then script code. the huge advantage is keening pvm usage and its defensive use in pvp. Learn to use your tomes isnt that what numerous people say when rites are usually brought up that and a little "our tome sucks brosef" Pointless topic.

It's a bit better than Nocceo Vulnero. It can do 150 damage to Impalers and Skittering Hoppers. Pewpew.

If you mean AoE keening, it's not as good as Veritas.
