So i can only think of a loot boost due to full looting.

Considering this topic, i dont think stoning should be THAT harsh, i mean that it's kinda banning a character slot from your account for XX period of time. That's a no go in my eyes. Stoning should co-operate with a wrong-type system and Wrong should be level capped versus murder counts.

Use cheaper stuff and have loads of spare? Thats how robbers do it...

It was also the case that back then religions never really wanted robbers tarnishing their image nowadays they dont care donno why but they dont....

Imperial was the secret robber helpers [stone release, wrong rescue]
Tek didnt mind them but would not help them in battle [released a few from stone and wrong]
Nature couldnt interact with them
Law used to hunt them

some people may just feel 5 months is still justifiable for having a robber character that is all johnny...
